On Mon. night I had an apparent partial small bowel obstruction. Thankfully it resolved itself the next day. However, now its wednesday night and I still feel very sore and tender in the abdominal area, and occasionally get a little wave of brief pain when stool seems to be traveling in the area of the prior obstruction. Ive been staying on srambled eggs and liquids and am planning on flying out of town on Monday morning for a week. Does this symtom mean I still have a small partial obstruction even tho I am not blocked or nauseas? Would a simple abdominal xray (KUB)be in order to make sure things are fine before I leave town, or are these remaining symptoms a normal aftermath after what I went through and will continue to resolve by itself shortly? The waves of "contraction pain" I underwent prior to the sbo resolving itself were Very painful.so can I assume that this stuff now is normal? Thanks.
