J pouch with mucosectomy

Has anyone had a mucosectomy (removal of mucosal layer in rectum) with your j pouch? I'm curious if your experience recovering from the second surgery is any different from others.

I had my takedown two weeks ago and am going to the bathroom, or at least having an urge to go, much more than I expected.

I had a mucosectomy, I don't know if it contributed to my adaptation but the reversal was far more difficult than the first surgery. You will improve but expect it in weeks or months, not days.
