J-Pouch Support Group Meetings near Pittsburgh?

Are there any jpouch support group meetings in or around Pittsburgh? I'm helping a fellow future jpoucher to find a meeting or meet an actual jpoucher face to face.

I presume you are talking about Pittsburgh, PA; not Pittsburg, CA?

Pittsburgh PA is with an h. Others in the US dropped it, mostly.

My surgery was at UPMC Presby in 1991, and there was one there in Oakland that many years ago.

Have them call 866-4GASTRO to check with the Digestive Disorders clinic. My surgeon Dr. Schraut is still there. His nurse's name is Laura Peduzzi... They could probably guide you IF you're talking Pittsburgh PA.

I'm close to Pittsburgh and still get my care there... Your friend could contact me, too... Msg me if interested.
