J pouch physician in St Petersburg Florida

I am in Florida as well. I would recommend Tampa and Lutz Florida in specializing with J-pouches. Unfortunately, a lot of doctors are not J-pouch educated and we tend to have to travel to other cities/states to get the care we need. Its not fair but its apart of the J-pouch journey.

Dr. Jennifer Seminerio is a IBD and Pouch specialist and she currently works at the USF IBD center but she is moving close to Orlando. I am not sure how far that is from St. petersburg but I think she would be a good candidate for you if you do not want to drive to Tampa or Lutz.

Thanks for your quick response. I am close to tampa and it was suggested to me to reach out to my gastro in Orlando for a referral. I may follow up on that but also contact Dr. Seminarian.

I go to Florida Medical in Tampa, I see Dr. Cody for my pouchoscopies. If I were having bad problems with my pouch, I would definitely see Dr. Seminaro.
