Hello, I am new to this site and trying to find a suggestion for a good MD at either Reproductive science center in Lexinton or Boston IVF. I want someone who is experienced in working with J-pouch patients. Thanks for your replies
We used dr selwyn oskowitz at Boston IVF. He is very familiar with pouch and ostomy patients and is very good about being cautious with Stim numbers and transfer numbers. I got pregnant three times - two fresh cycles and one frozen - two live births, my turning seven this week son and my turning 4 1/2 this week daughter. PM me if you want more info but we were beyond happy with our experience and results.
Hi Janet! Not sure of your age bracket, but here's a link to the 2010 SART scores for IVF docs in Mass. You can narrow it down by age, too. I copied the link for the under 35 in Mass.
keep in mind that data can only tell you so much...you need to ask the clinic about the cases they take - Boston IVF tends to take tough cases that have low chance of success, but they try anyway. Some clinics choose to only take cases they feel have a strong chance of success.
At the end of the day, the number one factor you need to have is trust and confidence in your doctor. So regardless of any data, or anyone else's experience, you need to go with your gut - who do you trust?
