Itchy external hemorroids

Doing what you are doing plus slathering some barrier cream all over the external hemmorroids right after cleaning and drying (and after each b.m.) helped me relieve the itch. Also spraying the area or sitz bathing in as warm ( hot) water as you can tolerate also helps relieve the itch. Follow up with drying thoroughly and applying cream. It may seem like a bother, but....if it helps, it's worth it.

Thank you. I guess I'll just continue what I've been doing. It's annoying because it usually itches after I use the bathroom, and sometimes when I'm out, there's not much I can do. I can only carry so many wipes with me.

Have you ever tried a squirt bottle to clean your area instead of wiping which can cause iritation to an irritated bum. I use cold water and try not to scratch because the more you do, the itchier you can become. Have you tried Calmoseptine?
