Hey all, I know that last time when I talked about this, I also referred to a sore that I had, and that’s what most everybody answered. But nobody really responded to the leakage. And I thought maybe if the sore healed there would not be any. I went to my colorectal surgeon had myself checked out. Everything‘s fine. And two weeks to the day it happened the first time it happened again last night. It’s horrifying and humiliating and ruins the mood,  as you can imagine. Any women out there have this happened to them? Any men out there have a woman have some leakage onto them and how do you feel about it? This is a relatively new relationship  And the sex life is really good and active. And now I’m afraid it has to stop because I can’t keep either holding back and being afraid like last week (no leakage but also no real orgasms) . Or let it go and allowing myself to have fun and then have leakage that stops the whole process and makes it all feel very dirty  And yucky. Please any help would be appreciated. We only have weekends together and I don’t know what to do for tonight. Any solutions to this problem?

Hi there,

I am so very sorry you’re experiencing this. I’ve not had that happen to me, but I’ve always worried about it. So much so that I purposely don’t eat before being intimate. Obviously, that can’t always be the case if things happen spontaneously. You mentioned that you only see eachother on the weekends so maybe you can plan your meal for afterwards.

All the best to you my friend.

After reading this last night I came here to say, long term, pelvic floor exercises might help, and for a quick solution, an enema before the loving starts might help since if there is no poop, it can't leak out.  Others have already gotten to it, though!

I'm so excited for your fun new relationship with lots of sexiness.  Embarrassing as it might be, I have notice that the keepers don't get that freaked out by my own personal brand of grossness.

Wow everybody! Those are good ideas. I haven’t done an enema in probably 20 years. I wonder how long it keeps the area clear because it might be an hour or more between doing it and DOING IT😂. I really appreciate all your comments and compassion and understanding. I’ve also tried the not eating thing. So far that had been successful for the first 4 months of our relationship. I just need to be more careful. Kegles! Ok. I guess I hate them less than accidents, so I will start.  And thank you for being happy for me Because this is a new life after a fourty year relationship that was nothing like this. I’m pretty old to be acting like a teenager, but I’m so grateful. Grateful for you guys as well! Who else could understand?

A few things might help, firstly if you only eat protein meals then you will have fewer problems...it is low density and will slow you down. Next, eat for sex. In other words, until you have mastered those poor muscles and your Keigles, avoid food for a few hours beforehand...Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper...

And yes, many, many, many moons ago it happened. I had a leaky valve on my K pouch and it just opened up and poured out...I was 19 and the world ended when it happened. Fortunately for me, the guy understood and I survived the humiliation.

It may take a while but you will survive this too.

OK, so here goes. I experienced the exact same thing, and to make it even worse, I have a fistula that creates even more leakage, only vaginally to go along with the other end. I am a huge proponent of Metamucil. It solved the problem 100%. It adds bulk to your stool, so it is formed and no longer loose and watery. Also eliminates gas. But I take a lot for it to work so well, both morning and evening every single day of my life. It's been a life-changer. Good luck!

Wow, I never knew metamucil eliminates gas...what ingredient makes it do that?

SM

Metamucil only has one active ingredient (psyllium). Some people get gassy from it, some get reduced gas, and some get neither. The optimal dose for each person is individual, but it’s easy, inexpensive, and low risk to experiment to find what’s best for you. Start with the directions on the package and vary from there.

I get the store brand, either from Target or Walmart. My personal preference is to mix the container that has sugar with the container with artificial sweetener, half and half (one is too sweet, one not sweet enough). In the morning, I take the equivalent of  1 1/2 tablespoons, same after dinner. I don't mix it with water, I just scoop it into my mouth a little at a time, and chase it with a swallow of water. I take so much I find it's easier and quicker than mixing it with a lot of water, as you have to drink it quickly or it will thicken. I would start out with less and see how you do. I had to experiment and eventually found the perfect formula for me.
