You mean BCIR! Surgery to create both are essentially the same in functionality. Both are a closed pouch made from the last x cm of small bowel. They differ in the stitch lines of the pouch and valve construction. BCIR’s are no longer an option since all surgeons have retired.

Sorry for the spelling lol. Thank-you for clarifying. I believe with both you emtpy using a catheter right??? You do not sit on the toilet to poop right???

Carrying the catheter when leaving the house must be annoying at times. But honestly that is way better than dealing butt burn, butt burn hurts lol.
