I have a seton on the right side for an intrasphincteric fistula.

Now developing left side internal anal discomfort. Felt inside, and feels ?irritated/a bit bumpy over there. Definitely the source of discomfort. It's not an external lump like my abscess was, just feels irritated.

Been on Canasa suppositories, about every third night now.

Can the Canasa be the culprit of this? Any ideas? Hope it's not a new abscess brewing, but if it is, I get the new dx of Crohn's and a biologic.

Has no one had any issue with Canasa suppositories causing anal irritation?

Thought things were getting better, and it's still better than it was Sunday to Monday, but still have this left sided anal pain internally. Doesn't hurt to have a bowel movement. No discharge. Still hoping it's just a side effect of the Canasa.

Thanks, if you've had Canasa issues, could you please respond?
