Injectafer?

Well I guess no one ever had this iron infusion? My daughter's iron stores are low, 6, so I hope this goes well for her today. I am going with her later today for the iv iron and she is very nervous about it after what happened with the other iron, rightly so. Hope this goes smoothly and she starts to feel better soon.

It's unfortunate there was not a response to your post. I'm not familiar with ferahame iron injection although I was told that intramuscular injections have the risk of allergic reactions. Any time my hemoglobin and ferritin stores dropped too low, I received blood transfusions. There are risks with blood infusions as well but reduced with the matching process I believe. I wish you and your daughter good fortune with the "Injectafer". Anemia really interferes with life. And I can only imagine an anaphylactic reaction would be frightening.

Thank you for your response JHendrix. My daughter had to have the infusion yesterday and she did well with the Injectafer! Hopefully it will bring up her levels.
