Hi all,
I've been having periodic pains for several months that pretty much take me out for a day or two. When it happens my entire abdomen (not just lower abdomen) cramps, gets bloated, and is just in raw pain. I've had blockages before and this is not in that category. My dr suspected pouchitis or a stricture, but after months of treating for both of those the pains persist, spontaneously and inconsistently. He now suggests that it could be something called "in-flow tract enteritis," which he described as an inflammation of the intestine right above my pouch that would be treated with the same anti-inflammatories that never worked when I originally was diagnosed with colitis.
Has anyone here ever even heard of this? Google is failing me...
Thanks all!
