Imodium or Lomotil

I have been using lomotil but I am thinking about switching to imodium. I don't think it is working as well as it use to. Which one works best?

Imodium works well for me but the main reason I use it is because it doesn't need a prescription and is easier to get. Also they sell it at the dollar tree :-).

Lomotil works better for me, but everyone is different. With my insurance coverage Lomotil is cheaper, too.

I've used both, but Lomotil seems to work better for me. My insurance covers it also.
