Hello all!  I wondered if anyone has taken "Immy" in this group?  It's an over-the-counter heat killed bacteria that is supposed to help the immune system do it's thing, which helps overall health.  It's also supposed to be really good for gut issues.  I have been taking it since last spring and I feel like it has helped with overall health as well as digestion.  I got a pouchocopy (first one in 20 years so I have no basis for comparison) last week and I had no inflammation at all.  Of course, this may not be related.  Has anyone else tried this supplement?  I'm curious if this could help us pouch people?

Here is their website:

Wow, NOBODY has taken this stuff? I'm perplexed. I think this stuff might be really helpful for the system. I'd love to hear anybody else's experience because I think lots of people could benefit. I think it has made me a lot healthier. For those who dare to experiment...THIS is something to try!

I emailed the Immy people and they said the heat-killed bacteria hangs out in the lower part of the small intestine and does its work there, not in the colon, until it gets flushed out.  I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. They also told me another person with a j-pouch had been asking similar questions about it.  I had hoped that person was in this group!  Is anyone else interested?  It would be good to make our own little study.
