Immune to antibiotics

I don't understand this question. Without the pouch you have no reservoir to hold your stool and it would be like having an ostomy connected you back end. You have no rectum other than a short cuff the jpouch is connected to. Have you tried 6 mp, entecort or biologics?

Xifaxan is sometimes used, though it didn't work for me. One extra benefit is that it isn't absorbed into the body. One extra negative is that it's extremely expensive.

Yeah I live on xifaxan 60ml of Rowasa Enimas twice a day and 30 ml of Cort Eninma twice a day...
ive always ducked the 6mp because i hear bad side affects..pancreatitis and more..
Ive also heard of surgeons removing the diseased jpouch and constructing another one ..that is if my intestines are long enough to construct and reach.

Are you able to hold the enemas in with pouchitis? Does your regime keep the pouchitis under control? Have you tried pepto bismal? I get some relief with this to get breaks from Cipro. My pouchitis is pretty chronic also. I would be skeptical of creating another jpouch as I would bet you would still get pouchitis . Also small doses of 6 mp like 50 mg do help people with chronic pouchitis without the major concern of side effects but I understand your hesitation. I was reluctant to take it with UC but in retrospect wish I did. I may have held on to my colon if I tried it.

I take Lomotil..but is pepto bismol better to take?
yes I can ho;d the enimas in..its in remission right now but the problem is the Cort enima..I take 30ml twice a day but i may have gotten immune to 30ml..the pouch starts to throb in pain but if i take 35-40ml i feel fine..but my Dr wont up my dose of the Cort enima..wants me to have surgery instead..i wont do the ostomy.
