I have noticed in the past year, i have water bm's and i have come to it that it will always be watery. No big deal. I drink about 4 litres of water a day.

My question is, does Imodium thicken the stool and helps prevent frequency?

Yes. I have been taking it since my surgery in 1995, but need much less now.

Still, my output is variable based on what I eat, so I don't pay too much attention to how thick or watery it is. I mostly care about frequency.
