Hi, All:
I just had my first surgery almost two weeks ago. I'm still in the hospital as I had a few set backs and ended up back on an NG tube for 4 days a week after surgery. (HATE those things)
I'm finally starting to feel a bit better but I've had constant problems with leakage. My output is very watery right now. My bag seems to last 6 hours before leaking around the wafer. My doctor says my stoma has retracted which is where some of the problem lies. He has now mentioned going back in to try to get the stoma put further! I do not want to go that route. I just need to get this leakage under control. I'm still not on any type of diet but was hoping once I am eating and drinking things may thicken up and not leak so easily.
Any advice to save the day??? Thank you!!
