Program Overview
Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) consist of two primary phenotypes, Crohn’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC). Management of IBD involves a multidisciplinary approach, with medical, endoscopic, and surgical aspects. The main venues of the symposium will include lectures on recent advances in the medical therapy of IBD, the prevention of infectious complications, pre- and post-operative prophylaxis, disease monitoring, and endoscopic management of disease- and surgery- complications. The audience will enjoy lectures and interacting with the leading experts in the field. This is a joint venture of Columbia University Irving Medical Center, NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, Orlando Health, FL, and the Global Interventional IBD Group.
