Well, pouches are a whole new ball of wax...they need time to settle in and get to know you and you need to get to know them...they are a reservoir, stuff sits in them and has time to marinate (TMI?) and does not just get rushed out like an ileo.
Give your body time to adapt. Most of us pouchers eat a very large and varied diet with few restrictions and those are generally personal or specific to our bodies' needs.
I have a K pouch (same pouch, different exit) and need to be careful of fiber due to that exit but in the very beginning (1979-85) I could not eat any lactose...it took some time but I figured out which dairy products work for me...I can eat yogurt, especially Greek, hard cheeses in limited quantities (I cannot eat a whole pizza and wouldn't try), ice cream but not straight milk or a latté...
I had problems in the beginning with spices but now, no.
Keep a food journal or diary and mark down what you eat and drink and when...Then you will slowly see patterns forming and be able to figure out what works specifically for you.
Add to that that you & your pouch are changing and adapting so even foods that didn't work one day may become favorites a week or month later...patience.
Whenever trying or testing, do so in small quantities...
