I think about it all the time because it makes me feel grateful and special

I think about it a lot because every day since I got out of the hospital has been better than living with UC, cancer risk, etc.
Almost forgot - Colectomy 9/2006, takedown 11/2006
I think about it every time I go to the bathroom.....so all day long....I am grateful to have my jp......my colon was going to be my death....I hade stage 3 cancer
Although I'm grateful for it, I rarely think about it. My life is pretty much the same as when I had a healthy colon.

I wouldn't have survived as most of us without my skilled surgeon and medical advancements that keep so many of us kicking. So thankful and I think about mine each time I need a bathroom

i think of it often and how wonderful the last 15 years have been pain free. I LOVE food and I love my J-pouch!
I think about it all the time. I try to think about what it would be like still suffering with UC and be positive, but I often think it's unfair that I had to have it in the first place :-(.
