I am not complaining but I go to a fancy cancer clinic near Baton Rouge and they CT Scan me at least once a year, scope every other year, blood tests twice a year along with a full physical twice a year and I have had no complications, no problems and except for more BMs that I used to have, I feel just about 100% all better, don't even have Butt burn anymore (that went on for 4 years!) Is this too much or do others get this kind of treatment too?

Did you have cancer? I guess my only concern would be unnecessary ct scans for obvious reasons. But if you had cancer and that is the reason for all the tests, then that's a different story. At the present, I just get a quick scope once a year by my surgeon. This time around he may even tell me to come every two years, we'll see.
I had early stage CC, runs in my family. Because of the genetic component we all got tested twice a year, colonoscope and six months later flex sig every year so they discoved mine early. I moved here from California, don't think they follow so closely after 3 or 5 years in California, maybe 'cause health care costs more in California? Oh well, if I ever get anything else, they will see that early too.
Mark, i was getting a flex every year....this year my surgeon told me unless i am having problems, he is cutting me back to 1x every 2 years. The only time I have had a cT scan was when an ER doctor mistook my jpouch for a tumor (snicker)...he refused to listen when I tried to tell him it was a jpouch and refused to talk to my surgeon. If he is checking for cancer, then he just wants to be sure you are clear.
