Started getting what I know now was symptoms of pouchitis, nausea, loss of appetite, abdo pain etc. Had a scope and it was confirmed pouchitis. Im now on flagyl. How long before symptoms resolve??

IMMEDIATELY for me! Read the Rx insert for very carefully. I'm glad I did, because it said do not drink alcohol for the first 3 days. None of my usual "happy hour" for me 
Usually, I am symptom-free within 12 hours. Works pretty quick!

Did any of your symptoms return after you finished your 10-day dosage of Flagyl? Did your pouchitis return? If yes, how long of an interim between bouts of pouchitis?

For me, symptoms improve within hours of the first dose, but this varies. You should see some positive results within a couple of days. If three days go by with no improvement, you need to call your doc and see about a different antibiotic.

I have chronic pouchitis so I'm not the one to ask. My symptoms come back within a couple days if I'm not taking something. I've been taking Pepto Bismol now for several months, which has been working very well in place of the antibiotics.
