If things couldn’t be difficult enough. I got a really painful hemorrhoid on the right inside of my anus. Just kills. I got it yesterday from straining to go. I still strain from time to time and I am eight weeks out since closure surgery. Does anyone else get hemorrhoids? I need to treat this carefully. Thanks Doug

Mine showed up on the opposite side last week, just as I was getting ready to go out of town. I was quite uncomfortable for a few days, but since it hadn’t thrombosed I was able to reduce it with repeated kegels. The damned thing felt like a tomato.
Thanks Scott - I am sorry you had that happen, but happy it’s gone. I laughed out loud at the tomato comment. Mine is getting better and I am careful not to “push” when I go.

I know its tempting to strain but please do not strain. Straining can also lead to prolapse in the bladder and pouch.
Yes - I am going to try not to. I may check out why I need to strain so hard. I am just tired of going to the doctor.

Would definitely suggest more water and exercising, that helped me not to strain.
Thanks - water seems key

You are entirely welcome, water helped me so much! Even when I do not exercise lol.
I was always told you can't get hemorrhoids if you have a jpouch. I have issues with getting cysts around my rectal area. When inflamed, those hurt like hell!

Quite a few people on here have had that.
