20+ years with mine, and I have 10-15...even with taking Metamucil everyday. So basically, I have a bm evertime I have to go potty. Luckily, the incontinence has been reduced to a minimum.  But, this may not be everyone's experience.  My GI (not surgeon) once said that I had less than a desireable outcome with my surgery 😂.  Ya think?

Do you take immodium????

I also have a lot of bm's but rarely take immodium, lomotil or fiber.  I have trouble emptying when the output is thick, and end up spending more time in the bathroom.  Fortunately I am 99+% continent.  The only accidents have been a few misguided releases of gas.   If I have to go a long time without access to a bathroom I resort to fasting/very low volume food (like a protein bar).
