How many Bowel Movements do you all have in a 24-hr period? I have at least 10 and up everyday.

Hi, welcome. I have no more than 6 but average 5, sorry to hear you are having so many.
Anywhere from 5 to 15. My pouch varies widely. I assume that is because I have pouchitis and UC in my cuff. When things flare, it gets interesting.
Right now a lot, but I'm at 3 1/2 months and trying to eat lots to gain wait. Probably about 12 to 15.

Thank-you for the welcome and you are lucky! I do not take immodium because it clogs me up
20+ years with mine, and I have 10-15...even with taking Metamucil everyday. So basically, I have a bm evertime I have to go potty. Luckily, the incontinence has been reduced to a minimum. But, this may not be everyone's experience. My GI (not surgeon) once said that I had less than a desireable outcome with my surgery 😂. Ya think?

Do you take immodium????
I don't take Imodium either, when I tried I got very backed up and felt terrible.
My GI just added imodium at dinner time for me. Only been a day or two, so I haven't seen any difference yet.
I also have a lot of bm's but rarely take immodium, lomotil or fiber. I have trouble emptying when the output is thick, and end up spending more time in the bathroom. Fortunately I am 99+% continent. The only accidents have been a few misguided releases of gas. If I have to go a long time without access to a bathroom I resort to fasting/very low volume food (like a protein bar).
