Hi all,

It's been 8 weeks since my reversal and I'm still experiencing butt burns that come and go, which I'm assuming is normal for now. I always apply creams after each bathroom visit.

I'm going back to work next week and I'm taking my calmosepting with me. I was just curious to know about your experiences. When did you notice that your skin is tolerating the bathroom visits? Will there ever be a time that we can just go without applying anything? I read that it takes about a year for our bodies to fully recover from the burns and the problems...what do you think?

Any feedback would be great!

Thanks,

I am three months out from surgery, and I feel like the skin or the acidic/bile output was reduced somewhere in the 8-10 week range. I still get but burn depending on what I eat, but its not as bad or incredibly painful as before; it's more itchy than anything else. I still carry around calmoseptine and apply it one to a few times a day depending on the output. - but something definitely changed and each trip to the bathroom is no longer a dreadful proposition.
