Geeze, I hate hearing about these sorts of stories. Sort of pokes holes in the notion of faith and trust we are supposed to have. But, I guess it is a good reminder to be sure to do your homework, advocate for yourself, and become your own "expert" on your condition.

Thankfully, most docs are honest, caring people (at least in my experience).

I am sure my friend feels pretty violated. She is very sick in the hospital with an open wound , clots in her arm and fistula so hearing this doesn't help I am sure.
