Have and ostomy but also a cold, these things normal for ostomy during sickness???

This is really my first time being sick with a cold while having an ostomy and just wondering if these things are normal. have a sore throat, coughing *bleh* the ostomy is outputting alot, mostly liquid all the time now, trying to compensate by drinking more..just wondering. havent gone to the doc yet, managing it with robitussin, cough drops and throat spray. i dont get sick that often like this.
