Good Morning..It's been awhile since I've chatted. Well, I had my so called adhesion removal surgery June 5th. It was quite the surprise. Dr. Ashburn tried to do it laproscopic but couldn't so she went ahead with full abdominal incision and what she found was a 6# football size ovarian cysts that was literally squashing everything inside. No wonder why I couldn't eat, poop, etc...without so much pain. So, she went ahead and removed it, partial ovary and fallopian tube and adhesions and also repaired a hernia. 6 wks later I'm still trying to heal. The j pouch got smashed pretty good, so it hopefully will resume it's "normal" size within time and hopefully after 6 years of pain, things will start improving. Right now though, I have tons of spasms in the belly area as though I am having tons of bowel gas and of course, incisional pain too. Great news, though, Dr.A made sure that pathology took their time to biopsy everything...No Cancer...Thank God! Just wanted to update. Looks like I will have Dr. Shen scope on pouch in Oct. with hopes things are looking good.
Enjoy the day,
Patti
