I had my JPouch surgery with loop iliestomy 2 weeks ago. The bad nausea began 4 days ago, I feel real bad, I also have discharge from my butt - rectum was removed. I'm suffering from pain but the nauseas are so bad I don't want to take pain killers, I'm drinking fluids to prevent issues. Can someone give an idea how long is this to last, should I go to the er? Please advice

If nausea is the reason you want to go to ER, then be informed that they would most probably do nothing but give you nausea medication through IV. But if you are dehydrated, then I would say head to ED and get some IV fluid. If you haven’t already, call your surgeon and get prescription for nausea medication. Nausea is very common after first surgery. I had it for weeks if not months. I was hospitalized 2 weeks after my surgery because I couldn’t keep up with fluid intake due to nausea, and was dehydrated.
Thank you. I'm not dehydrated yet just with so much nausea, yes I've got a prescription not sure it works as good as I'd like to but it has to do for now.
