Green Poop?

Definitely could be. Bile is green before it is broken down during digestion. Maybe a tough of some stomach bug? If it is a viral thing, it should run its course in a few days. Bring it up at your appointment.

What color was the cake icing? Anything green, blue, or purple tends to come out as green. Red is what freaks me out at times - I have to really think about what I could have eaten / drank that was red like that.

Could be bile - but it is usually yellow more than green. It isn't something to get worried about though.

The weirdest green I have ever seen is with both my girls when they were babies. Flourescent green poop. I mean really bright - like they had eaten a flourescent green crayon or something (but they hadn't - they were just babies). Weird - but it came and went.

I would put money on it that it was the cake icing. Not to be gross but I have had every color of the rainbow and it's always because of something I ate.

Yeah.... I indulged a bit and it did start about two hours after I ate it.
If it was that it was fast. I had green for about 20 hours. Seems to be going back to normal now.

I've had neon green from drinking blue Poweraid sports drinks.

Just had birthday cake with green, blue and orange flowers...can't wait to see what rainbow I get as a gift tomorrow...those food colourings can be really freaky!
By the way, those new colours of twizzelers can cause freaky results too...

Sometimes froot loops does this to me. I think some artificial dyes can cause us pouchers to have weird colored poo.

Well Sharon.. What colors did you get? Purple, that would be cool.
That is my favorite color. Haha. Doc said it was normal.
She also said I may have dreaded pouchitis and started me on flagl? I have been having urgency problems lately and she said that is a sign. I have no other sign but that. No blood or anything.
Otherwise all else was normal. Thank goodness.
I hope I do not get a chronic case of pouchitis. But with my luck. Knock on wood.

Fruity Pebbles turns my poop neon green. The first time I ever ate them after my J pouch, I was like, "WHAT?!" then remembered the colorful cereal I ate, and the mix of colors with my brown stool somehow turned everything neon (and I mean NEON) green.

I got tourquoise!
Must have been the yellow and green...
I think that I am going to avoid any more artificial colourings...my nerves can't take many more bowl-shocks!

My favorite color of poo followed an Edible Arrangements fruit basket I received awhile back. I love fruit and devoured about half of it with my husband one night. Forgetting that some of the white chocolate covered strawberries were dipped in blue sugar, I went to the bathroom to discover Smurf Poop. I felt like a superhero!!!!!!!!!!!

I have problems with bile and yes, the poop is green. But, I also know when I have too much bile because my stomach and butt usually burn pretty badly -- are you having any of that or does it just look green?

Nope... No burn. It only lasted 20 hours so I don't think it was bile just something I ate.
