I haven't been on here in a while. Generally doing well! This might seem like a silly question - I'm considering a trip to the Grand Canyon this spring as I will be in the general area for another function, and it's a place I've always wanted to go. I'm wondering if there are easily accessible bathroom facilities at the park? I've only been able to confirm that there are restrooms at the vistors' centre. If you've visited, any info or feedback would be welcome. Thanks!

Spooky, I haven’t been there in years, but are you talking about making the trip (on foot or mule back) to the valley floor and back, or just up at the rim?
We went a few years ago. We walked along the upper rim where there were bathrooms and shuttles that took you to various checkpoints. No problems finding a restroom. We loved it and spent the day there.
The straw and grass-munching donkey don't kneed no "bathroom breaks," and neither do you.
Thanks for the replies! I don't think we'd actually be hiking down into the canyon, probably do the upper rim. It sounds doable!
Upper rim is beautiful and plenty of clean, stocked, bathrooms. I was there a couple of years ago and it was just amazing. Totally worth it. Enjoy!
I too was at the Grand Canyon a few years ago. We did a day trip through the park by car and finding a bathroom on the upper rim was not an issue. I didn’t take one of the trails to the bottom as it was a day trip in itself so I don’t know what’s at the bottom. Beautiful park, was a very enjoyable day!
