Does anyone have suggestions on high protein foods that don’t cause gas (ie broccoli, legumes, beans, dairy) and aren’t greasy (ground beef, backn, jerky)? I don’t care for chicken or fish. I need way more protein than I’m getting now.

After my surgery I lost alot of mass. I've gained a good 3 kgs since then. If you need muscles back you'll need both protein and fats . Chicken breasts boiled with little seasoning are a good source for lean bulk. I'll have one daily and 3 egg whites. Thats almost 40g protein in one meal. I personally drink dairy and protein shakes too dont mind a little gas. Anyways there are no better sources than chicken breasts and egg whites . Dont have whole eggs as yellows tend to form gas and raise cholestrol quick
Hi Bubba, first off congrats on the pregnancy! I know many of us don't eat nuts, but 1 oz. of almonds is 6 g. of protein. My problem with them is knowing when to stop. I measure them out and put the rest away. Can't have the can, because I'm will mindlessly eat them all. I'm only 3 months out, but I'm trying to eat a bit more healthy, and with us that isn't always easy. Good luck.

Yogurt is good. One container of Greek yogurt has about 15 grams of protein. Plus it has probiotics so good for the gut health overall. Even if you have problems with dairy, yogurt usually does not cause those same issues. At least for me.
Quinoa
Whey protein shakes are usually a good replacement for me when I am trying to cut back on meat.
Eggs, nuts, and quinoa. Protein shakes adding peanut butter. Edamame.
PlantFusion - vegan protein powder helped me when I needed it. It's for sale on Amazon and such sites plus retail at health food stores. It has 21g protein per serving. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk to mix it in plus make it a smoothie by adding various fruits & veggies, kale and a banana. Whatever you like as this is a good way of getting in those needed fruits and veggies too. My favorite flavor is chocolate and it's 120 calories.
