I tried to find any literature on any actual research on this product, and cound not find any. One ingredient (S-Methylmethionine, which is an amino acid, and also called vitamin U), is the ingredient in cabbage juice that is supposed to be so great. All the other ingredients are vitamins and food extracts with the intended purpose of promoting a healthy digestive tract. I could find no evidence that it does actually heal inflamed ileal mucosa due to a disease other than peptic ulcer. Lots of anecdotal stuff in product reviews in regard to gastritis and stomach ulcers, but not ileal pouch or rectal disease indications that I could see. There is literature on vitamin U and peptic ulcer. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1521464/
I would think if it was effective for gastritis, it would be completely digested before it got to your pouch, so the effect would not be the same.
On the other hand, it seems reasonably harmless, so you have nothing to lose but your time and money.
