Most intestinal gas is due to bacterial action on undigested carbohydrates. So, you can reduce your portions (smaller, more frequent meals), or reduce your carbs in general. It is highly individual regarding which carbs you tolerate best. White rice is pretty universally well tolerated.

Bland does not really have much of an impact on gas. Spices can cause irritation and diarrhea though, but that is different.
