Not sure if I can d this but I thought I'd give it a try...
I have 10 boxes containing60 packets each of Cholestyramine (Questran). That's a total of 600 packets...

My doctor switch me from taking Cholestyramine to taking metamucil. Howevr, I have a new 3 month supply delivered to my door literally on the same day my doctor switch it out.

I can not return them as the pharmacy will not take them back. I really am not a fan of waste... they are Free for the taking! I sure hope some one can use these!

Hey Ro-c, if you don't get any takers here, a lot of the time doctor's offices will take unused prescriptions as long as they're still factory sealed and give them out as samples.

I boxed up all my unused rectal meds, 5ASAs, etc after my colectomy to bring to my GI... she said she'd be happy to take them but I should hold onto them in case I needed them after surgery

That was a sad moment!

Thank you Liz! I called my doctors office this morning and they said they'd love the donation!! Great suggestion!
