In the grand scheme of things, this is probably quite the insignificant question.
But for those of you who recently had your procedures done at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, is it standard to have a roommate for your hospital stay?

yes.. and the rooms are very small also. Its quite a tight fit when each roomate has a significant other sitting in a chair next to their hospital bed.
But... can't really complain about it.. as the quality of care there, and the love of the nursing staff is unsurpassed.

I'm going to be having a colectomy...so at least I won't be fighting with them for the bathroom!

I got spoiled the last time I was hospitalized. They thought I had CDIFF so I was put into a room all by my lonesome!

The cool thing about CC is they do a one port colectomy. Take the thing right out through the belly button! Watched a video of it the other day. Think they are the only ones doing it that way.
