Hi everyone. My last ctscan and scope looked great. Doc said that if didn't know who he was taking care of, he would thing it was a very healthy person. I've been on Remicade for 1.5 years and I've been able to spread out my treatments to 9 weeks.

My question is, for the passed 4-5 months, I've been experiencing tremendous foot pain, especially when I get out of bed. My right knee is also very sore. My internist did blood work including ANA tests. One came back positive and the second came back negative. She believes it is probably Lupus or Sjorgruns (sp?). I feel very well overall except for this pain. I am not able to get in to a local rheumetologist until the end of Sept. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Also, does anyone know a rheumetologist in the Upstate NY area? I live in Syracuse, but I would be willing to travel to get into a good doc quicker than 4 months.

Thanks so much.

Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Please discribe the pain...When you get up in the morning or from sitting for a while is it a pain when you put the foot on the floor and then stand up and start to walk? Does it go away after a few minutes (2-10)?
Did the knee pain start at around the same time?
Where on the foot is the pain? sole? under the toes? heel?
Thanks
Sharon
