For all of you that have taken antibiotics to help heal your fistula, what happens when you go off?

This is a good question. I've lowered my dose to 500 mg. of augmentim every other day and the fistula is doing the same, or better, than when I was on higher, daily doses of tindamax. Considering going off completely, or at least trying it ...
it didn't get bigger once stopping antibiotics.... it healed up quite a bit. you could always go back on antibiotics if the symptoms return.
