This whole having a fistula and cutting seton is getting old. And I feel like no one knows anything about it and has nothing to say. I hate this. My fistula is still producing something after I cramp up. And I go back Monday and Tuesday to clev and I know I'm just going to be miserable again Bc he is going to tighten the seton up

ugh I'm so frustrated Bc my bottom is raw and the cramping sucks and I have to go under again. When will this fistula problem end?!

Hang in there. I'm on my 5th seton now.

Try and take each day as it comes, it's all for the greater good.

There IS an alternative!!!! Search the posts here for my name and fistula to read about the procedure I had done. I was one of the first 10 women to have it done and have had fabulous results (i.e. no more fistula!) and have absolutely NO REGRETS. If you can't find the thread, PM me and I'll give you details.

I had my Pre op appointment today and tomorrow the way I understand is that there Are 3 options Dr. Remzi could lance it, tighten the seton, or put a draining seton in. Not looking forward to waking up after the procedure and bein miserable.

There is a different option being used here in Europe with MUCH higher success rates... Seriously worth the surgeon looking into! Can't at the moment, but will PM you later with details.

I am waiting right now for the EUA I'm first so we had to be here at 530 am but thank you. I don't know how much my surgeon will look into it though.
