I've not been around this site much because thankfully things have been working well up until the past couple of weeks, where I've had what I think is pouchitis - primarily cramps and loose, watery stools. Took a week of Flagyl and everything seemed to clear up for a couple of days, but I've been off of it for a week now and the pouchitis seems to be back with a vengeance; is it [fairly] normal to go through bouts like this? I'll talk to my doctor, of course, but is another round of antibiotics a good idea?
I'm thankful that I haven't had this problem since takedown back in November, but it's also totally foreign to me, and I've done all the reading up on this board but just feel like I need a little encouragement that this is indeed pouchitis/normal/not the end of the world
