I know that many pouchers use fiber pills. Could you let me know when do you take them and how many times a day. Thanks Gracd

I think alot of j pouchers use the powder. Usually after a meal. Personally I only take it after breakfast. I follow the directions on the canister. I think with most things with us, it individual trial and error. Do make sure that you stay hydrated also.
I take pysillium husk in raw form. Twice a day . 1tsp in morning and 1 2 hrs before bedtime. It helps me bulk up the loose stools but it does make me go a little more. So theres a tradeoff.
I have also used the pysillium husk raw organic I bought from Amazon - 1 teaspoon every morning. It is tasteless when I mix it with my morning smoothie. I personally like it better than Metamucil.
I tried the Metamucil capsules, but they didn’t mix well enough with my stool to do their job.
Thanks everyone for responding. I had to go for a stretching a week and half ago. I am still having problems. I know I don't eat to much fiber because my system can't handle most veggies. I have been drinking prune juice during the day and Metamucil at night. I am still having problems. My gastro is saying that I may have to be stretched again. I am seeing my surgeon on Tuesday to see what the problem may be. I have been stretched quite a few times before. This is the first time I am having problems after stretching with constipation. Is there anyone that had this problem Thanks Grace
