I paged the fellow GI on call at Georgetown and he instructed me to go to the ER last night based on how much distress I was in. For 3 days I had a lot of pain my my mid to upper back then it started in my abdomen area and radiates up to my shoulder blades now. My abdomen feels like I have glass shards in there and burning/lemon acid feeling mixed in. Just weird pain and was at the end of my rope. I thought maybe FAP related and still do, will get an upper scope next month when my insurance kicks back in.
the GI thought based on what I said it might be pancreatis. So I went into the ER. They did their usual crap and of course in the end sent me on my way with "nothing being wrong". I am so fatigued and have a sore throat. No idea what is up. nyone ever have symptoms like this? My stool is the same, I have no gallbladder, I empty my pouch the same. I have very bad abdomen pain though. They told me to take a PPI. I got so annoyed. I always say no more ERs but yet I go there. This time, no more.
Funny, the lovely ER (insert sarcasm) argued with me I am not anemic and I am very much so. My Ferritin is 4.2 when the average is 9-50 but whatever, they know more than me. They also sent the police to my house because they swore I took off with an IV in my arm.
