Hi: I finally got around to reading Week in Review in last Sunday's New York Times and found this very interesting first-person article by a donor in a fecal transplant for a friend with ulcerative colitis:

Funny side story: The headline on the article is "Why I Donated My Stool;" my 10-year-old daughter saw it and said: "We have a stool in our body? Gross!"
