If the father is the carrier of the APC gene and passes it to our child....which he did. Since i carried baby will i have the gene as well? Can the husband pass that cell to me also? Just curious. About to call genetics on tuesday to ask but want to know if you guys might know.

Every human being has the APC gene, it regulates cell division. Your sons FAP is a result of this gene mutating.

FAP and APC mutations are not sexually transmitted diseases.

Your husband also cannot change your genetic information with his own through intercourse...your APC gene is safe.
