for me, its avoiding the tomatoes-- obviously, along with red meats, things that are too spicy (have to find the right level of spicy that is okay), and anything high in sugar. In sodas- I have found that diets and caffeine free sodas tend to work for me. I've just noticed increased output with caffeine, and if you have butt burn, more output is a bad thing.
I'm not a great water drinker either. I drink a lot of Crystal Light decaffeinated tea. Yes, I know there is artificial sweetener in it, but pick your poison. It keeps me hydrated and while it used to be a challenge to find the decaffeinated version, it seems readily available now. Though full disclosure: I had horrendous butt burn early on that even narcotics didn't dull the pain, but it vanished after a short while and i haven't had it since. I eat whatever I want, no limits.
