I found a new idea for an end plug for the catheter while you are wearing it. I found that a cap for an eye drop bottle works very well. I'm wearing my catheter today, due to my valve being alittle irritated. Sometimes I do this from time to time if I irritate my valve or I just want to wear it if I'm having trouble inserting the catheter and want to scar it into position or just give my valve a break. Scar tissue takes 21 days to form, so if you plan on trying this technique you need to leave it in that long. Then I just use a strip of cloth or gauze to tie around me and tie it to the catheter to hold it in place. I'm sure others have different ways to do this too. If you are wearing the catheter in for an inflamed or irritated valve, then you only need to wear it a day or two; it's up to you.
Always a good idea to give your techniques to the newbies. This site is fantastic, I love to read all the ideas and tricks of others. Priceless!
