I drink bottled water and use it exclusively for drinking, my daily sinus rinses and pre-scope enemas. I would never use well or tap water especially in the southern states as it could contain flesh and brain eating amoebas and other bacteria/microorganisms that are undesirable to ingest.
As a Floridian, the water down here tastes terrible. Although the city claims it is very safe.
I only drink bottled water and I prefer Zefferhills as it the only water that tastes good to me.
Living in Greater Boston, I drink tap water—our water supply is fortunately safe and the water tastes great. When I start traveling again, I’ll stick to bottled water on the road as I have done routinely in the past.
When you all speak of bottled water, is it the smaller bottles or the huge jugs?
I drink Tap water, grew up on it and I am doing fine. To me water is water, tap water is much cheaper and often tested, I have no problems with it
We buy bottles, although 5 gallon jugs would be more economical.
truth be told I drink Gatorade more than anything else for hydration

Regular gatorade or gatorade zero???
Tap water with a Brita filter for me, and bottled when I walk out the door.
I drink tap water that I put through the Brita filter. Keep in mind tap water- at least where I’m from- has fluoride, which is good for your teeth. My parents have a well and they babysit for my daughter three days a week. I actually bottle up our filtered Brita water into a gallon jug and bring it to their house so she can drink our local water - even though they are just a town over. The reason being is she’s only 2.5 and she needs the fluoride for her teeth (so the dentist tells me). I’m sure it’s different depending on your age and where you live (some of you say it’s horrible where you’re from). Just food for thought
I live on the West Coast of Canada. Our tap water is the best in the world. When I travel I drink bottled water.
Personally, I drink bottled or filtered water. I’ve had one to many incidents with tap water and I steer clear. My brother, (whose got intestines made of steel honestly), is super sensitive to tap water and it has made him sick on several occasions. That was enough for me to switch to filtered water.
I drink bottled water but have to drink electrolytes throughout the day. I find that Gatorade has to much sugar so I opted for pedialyte electrolyte powder…I drink over a gallon per day
I also reach for electrolyte rich drinks, especially when I’m playing my sport and when it’s hot outside. I really do not like Pedialyte, but I do agree that Gatorade has too much sugar sometimes. I often dilute gatorade with water to reduce the sugar intake but still get the some electrolytes. I personally do a 1:3 ratio (gatorade to water) and sip on that throughout the day. Might not be your cup of tea, but just a suggestion that ended up being really helpful (incase you don’t like Pedialyte)
The recommended amount of water per pedialyte is 8 ounces….I mix the packet with 32 ounces so it is more like flavored water. It works really well for my tastes..
