Since Shen left in November, has anyone seen her and what are your impressions? I have an appointment scheduled to meet her and go over my history (which is miles long), and get a feel if she is right for me. I do know of a FB friend that was a Shen patient went to see her a few weeks ago and he was not very impressed. Said his nurse spent more time with him than she actually did. I will not walk out of that appointment until I know she knows my complete history, of surgeries, procedures, meds, and current issues. I will not be rushed. I am going to call ahead and let them know my history was very long and complicated with Dr Shen and she needs to respect my time.. is that fair??

I was also a patient of Dr. Shen's and met with Dr. Philpot in November. I left with a pretty positive impression overall. I didn't feel rushed at all...I think she spent a good half hour with me. It's going to be a big change but I have reason to believe as of now she's the right doc for the job.

that's good to hear.. thanks.
do you have any issues with your pouch now?, and what is she capable of besides doing pouchoscopies and meds?
No ongoing issues with my pouch as of now (knock on wood). I honestly didn't speak with her about anything other than an annual pouchoscopy and medications when appropriate as that's all I need at this time.
saw her today.. seems nice.
anyone else hear seen here? or had a pouchoscopy by here?
