Doctor in Baltimore/DC area

Hi all! I need some help. My husband and I recently moved to the Annapolis area. Prior to moving here, I had a GI doctor and surgeon in Pittsburgh that was very experienced with the J-Pouch. Now that I am in a new area, I need to find a new GI doctor, but I'd like to find one that has experience with our types of situation and not just any joe-schmo. ha! Do any of you know of any recommendations of GI doctors in the Annapolis/DC/Baltimore area? Thank you!!

I go to Al Kawas at Georgetown he is the head of Gastro there and considered a "rockstar" according to Shen at Cleveland Clinic. This can be a good and bad thing. Sometimes getting through to someone for an issue I am having doesn't get addressed but he knows his stuff, just have to be in person I believe.

I might try to find a GI at Johns Hopkins though, really great care I had there going to the ER. Well the ER is a nightmare but once I got passed that it was on point, best ever.
