I should clean it often, but to be honest, I don't! I am lucky in that I have my own loo at home that no-one else uses. It gets cleaned when I have the energy. (I have other chronic illnesses.)
If I am visiting someone or using a public loo, I make sure that that loo is spotless after I leave :-)

And if its public, I do not really make sure its spotless, just decent lol.
I like the splash back because that usually means a good emptying of the pouch just took place so the extra few minutes cleaning under the toilet seat after is worth it to me anyway lol. But to answer the question yes yea we do have to clean the toilet more lol

AMEN!!! Same here! Poop gets everywhere and under the toilet seat too! Lol. The cleaning is worth it since our J-pouch is healthy lol.
The better question is... How many times have you forgotten to clean it before guests arrive?
I clean my toilet every time I use it... cleanest toilet in the house these days 🤪
something that everyone that has our issues needs to own is a Bidet Toilet Seat...! I purchased a BioBidet on Amazon and it has been nothing short of amazing! If you get one, don’t go cheap you deserve a heated seat, warm water spray, warm air dryer and multiple settings for your tushy and females have their own setting too.
This thing saves on TP and I have way less chaffing issues because of wiping less at home.

This is great news!! I always wondered if i was the only one constantly cleaning my toilet Literally every time I go. It’s like winning the lottery when I poop with no backsplash! So here’s a question.. since we are all very open about our poop chutes.. is anyone able to fart the same since their jpouch surgery? I personally need to be on the bowl since it’s no longer just gas that comes out!

Not usually but after 6 years I can do small farts lol. Big farts are done on the toilet because stuff comes out lol.
Farts of any kind are risky for us at best 😂😂 never trust a fart 🤪
Yea I’d like to say fart at your own risk lol, I have found for me at least that I can lay on my side or my stomach and can pass gas with the best of them with not having to worry about Sharting myself lol. Now I don’t trust a standing fart though lol, it’s usually a cross your fingers that it’s dry type of event lol
