had my2nd part of 3 j pouch surgery in nov everything has been good i get discharge from but every so often this morning it was blood only time that has happened was after check up with dr anyone ever have this

If this is discharge from your bottom, it is completely normal.
I have had almost full bowel movements even when diverted with the loop.
Sometimes things get down there. Also, even though you are not using the pouch yet, it still produces mucus. It has to come out sometimes.

I've always had mucus never blood from bottom unless dr just did check up
I remember blood in my stool right following surgery. There is a lot of scar tissue and tissue that has just been sewn together.
